Media personality Dotun has advised people who are thinking about marriage to be cautious when selecting their partner and to consider their partner’s family background.
He posted this advice on Twitter, stressing the need to think about both the individual and their family before making a marriage choice.
He warned that if someone relies on their partner’s happiness for their own joy, it could lead to the end of the relationship.
He stated, “Before you choose a partner, check their family first. It’s very important. If a key family member doesn’t approve of you, it’s over. If you expect your partner to fill the gaps, they will eventually fall apart. It’s even more challenging if your partner doesn’t have their own opinions.”
He added, “If you are just a way for someone to get what they want, your happiness won’t count. Still, take responsibility and make choices that bring happiness to your family; otherwise, when you mess up, those who don’t like you will take advantage of the situation.”
