Hezbollah Claims Killing 55 Israeli Soldiers, Injured Over 500

In a statement from its military “operations room,” the Lebanese group emphasizes that it is causing significant losses to the Israeli army and repelling its ground advances in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah has been providing these updates to highlight the restoration of its capabilities and structure following the assassination of several of its senior leaders, including its chief, Hassan Nasrallah, by Israel.

The latest statement includes the following points:

Israel has deployed over 70,000 soldiers and numerous military vehicles at the front lines, facing off against hundreds of Hezbollah fighters who are drawing them into lethal ambushes.

Hezbollah is steadily increasing its rocket and drone strikes against Israeli forces along the border and further into Israel.

Since the invasion began last month, approximately 55 Israeli soldiers have been killed in confrontations, with over 500 others injured.

Hezbollah has claimed to have destroyed 20 Merkava tanks, four military bulldozers, and two surveillance drones.

“In line with the leadership of the resistance, the operations room announces a shift to a new escalatory phase in the confrontation,” which will become evident in the coming days.
