NNPC Increases Fuel Pump Price Again

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has raised the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as petrol, to N1,030 per litre.

This change was noted by Daily Post Nigeria correspondent at several NNPCL stations in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to DAILY POST, this increase follows the NNPCL’s decision to end its exclusive purchasing agreement with Dangote Refinery, allowing other marketers to negotiate prices directly with the refinery.

In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), petrol was previously priced at N897 per litre.

Additionally, in Lagos, the price has risen from N885 to N998 per litre, resulting in long queues at fuel stations.
