Nigerians Have Rejected You, Go Home – Wike Replies Atiku

Former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has told Atiku Abubakar that the former Vice President has been rejected by Nigerians.

Wike said the Adamawa-born politician should pack his bags and return to his hometown because, according to him, the former Vice President had contested elections and lost several times.

Addressing his followers in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, Wike mockingly told Atiku: “I heard Atiku say Nigerians have rejected us. Have we chosen a form [to contest the Rivers LG elections]?

“I hear Atiku Abubakar say Nigerians have rejected us in Rivers State. You, who contested and failed miserably, Nigerians have rejected you; so, go home.”

DAILY POST reports that the All Peoples Party, APP, won 22 of the 23 local government council seats in the state when the election was held a few weeks ago.
