Netanyahu’s Rhetoric About Achieving Security For Israelis Shattered

October 7, 2024 is being observed in Israel in various ways, all influenced by the ongoing genocide in Gaza and its repercussions on other fronts in the Middle East region.

This undermines Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s claims of achieving victory, being decisive, and effectively targeting Hamas, as well as his ambitions to completely eliminate the larger group, Hezbollah, while also considering potential actions against Iran.

As a result, the notion of ensuring security for Israelis has been compromised, with approximately 61 percent Israel citizens feeling less safe now than they did on October 6, 2023 of last year when the war started.
