Isreal Genocide Only Possible Because Of Impunity – UN Envoy, Mansour

Palestine’s ambassador to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, has urged the Security Council to protect civilians who have been subjected to Israel’s attacks for more than a year.

“Israel has defied every restriction, broken every rule, and crossed every red line.” When does enough become sufficient? When will you take action? The Security Council is you. You need to get to every single Palestinian who is suffering. At a council meeting, the envoy stated, “That is your duty.”

He mentioned that in addition to the 43,000 people killed in Gaza, Israeli strikes have injured 100,000 Palestinians, many of whom have lost limbs or other permanent disabilities. Mansour stated that two million Palestinians are displaced, with “people enduring unspeakable pain.”

“By finally putting an end to this terrible injustice and ensuring accountability, let your actions match your words. Stop this genocide or remain silent forever.
