Israeli Forces Kills Two Lebanese Soldiers

On Friday, the Lebanese military reported that two soldiers were killed and three others wounded when Israeli forces struck a military facility in Kafra, located in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon.

Since the outbreak of hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel in October 2023, at least eight Lebanese soldiers have lost their lives.

In reaction to the Israeli assault, Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati urged for a “global stand of conscience to put an end to this aggression.

He stated, “This ongoing Israeli crime against Lebanon has not spared the brave soldiers who are fulfilling their national duty to protect the land and defend the people.”
