IRAN’s IRGC Cautions Israel Not To Rely On ‘Limited’ THAAD Capabilities

Advanced US missile defense systems, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander, won’t be enough if Israel strikes Iran to start an Iranian attack.

Don’t put your faith in THAAD systems. The IRGC-linked Tasnim news website quotes Hossein Salami as saying, “They are limited, and you have relied on a limited power.”

Your adversaries will fire multiple times as hard at you no matter what you choose to fire. We will defeat you because you cannot win this story.

Israel has requested a second THAAD system, and the United States has placed one THAAD system and approximately 100 soldiers in Israel.

“A small territory whose economy is 98 percent reliant on the sea must think more as unwise decisions could bring about the downfall of a regime with surprising speed,” Salami also vowed.

The head of the IRGC stated that the United States is committing a mistake by “tying its political reputation with the crimes” committed by Israelis and that “the bombs that are falling on the children of Gaza and Lebanon” have made the world aware of the United States.
