I Have Never Earned Wages From Covenant University – Bishop Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo, the chancellor of Covenant University, stated on Friday that he has not received any salary since the university was established. This revelation came during the 19th convocation of the institution, which he founded and which is affiliated with Living Faith Church.

Oyedepo emphasized that the achievements and personal development of the students are what he considers his true rewards.

At the ceremony, degrees were awarded to 1,607 graduates, and he acknowledged their contributions to various industries, including aviation, fashion, banking, and ICT.

“I declare this before God: I have not taken any wages from Covenant University since it began. Your success stories and breakthroughs in different fields are my true earnings,” he remarked.

He encouraged the graduates to seek opportunities to contribute, asserting that those who contribute cannot fail and will be part of the solution rather than the problem.
