How My Marriage Was Lost Over My Passion For Acting – Yetunde Wunmi

Experienced Yoruba actress Yetunde Wunmi has shared the sacrifices she made for her acting career.

In an interview with BBC Yoruba, the 64-year-old revealed that she began her journey as a stage performer in 1982 with Sunday Akinola’s ‘Feyi Kogbon’ theatre group.

Reflecting on her nearly 40 years in the film industry, Wunmi mentioned that her marriage ended because of her dedication to acting.

She recalled a memorable moment with Adelove, who brought stage drama to her neighborhood, describing how she was thrilled to be near him and how that experience sparked her interest in theatre.
