Hezbollah Eulogises Yahya Sinwar, Calls Him Hero Over Oct. 7 Attack

The Lebanese group says the slain Hamas leader has won all the “medals of honor and dignity” in his lifetime of fighting against Israel.

Hezbollah also praised Sinwar for leading “one of the most humiliating operations in the history of the Israeli occupiers,” referring to the October 7, 2023 attacks.

“He won martyrdom as he loved and desired – on the battlefields of the struggle, until the last breath face to face with occupation forces,” Hezbollah said in a statement.

“The martyrdom of the commander and those who came before him in the ashes of the resistance will strengthen the determination and resolve of the resistance on all battlefields and arenas to continue on the path of liberating Palestine and eradicating the cancerous Zionist tumor.”
