Four Thailand Nationals Confirmed Killed Near Israel-Lebanon Border
Maris Sangiampongsa, Thailand’s Foreign Minister, confirmed to X that Hezbollah’s rocket attacks on northern Israel on Thursday killed four Thai and injured one.
Maris said, “I instructed our Embassy in Tel Aviv last night to extend every and all assistance to the injured and families of the deceased, and extend my profound condolences to them for their immense loss.”
He stated, “In the name of the innocent civilians gravely impacted by this prolonged and deepening conflict, Thailand continues to strongly urge all parties to return to the path of peace.”
One Israeli farmer and four Thai agricultural workers were killed when rockets struck farmland near the border town of Metula in the first of Hezbollah’s attacks on Thursday.
Two Israelis were killed in a second rocket attack near Kibbutz Afek, which is near the city of Haifa.
