‘Marriage Is Not In My Prayer Points’ – Ini Edo

Nigerian actress Ini Edo has responded to recent rumors regarding her possible marriage.

The speculation began in September 2024 when she posted a picture of herself in a traditional Efik bridal gown with a romantic caption on her social media.

However, in a recent interview with Premium Times, she clarified that the post was meant to promote her upcoming four-part series, ‘My Fairytale Wedding,’ and was not an announcement of her engagement.

When asked if she dreams of having a fairytale wedding in real life, Ini Edo stated that marriage is not a priority for her at this time. “I’m not obsessed with marriage; I value having a strong relationship. It’s not something I’m hoping for, nor is it a focus of my prayers.”

According to DAILY POST, Ini Edo was previously married to Nigerian-American businessman Philip Ehiagwina; they wed in 2008 and divorced in 2014.
