lon Musk’s social media platform, X, has launched its digital wallet and peer-to-peer payment service, X Money Account, in partnership with Visa.
This service enables users to transfer funds between bank accounts and digital wallets, facilitating instant payments like Venmo and CliQ.
The move aligns with Musk’s vision of transforming X into an “everything app” where users can manage their financial activities. X Payments LLC is now licensed in 41 U.S. states and registered with FinCEN.
The service is set to roll out in Q1, with plans to support creators and potentially integrate banking features in the future.
