Portable Kneels To Thank Magistrate After Meeting Bail Requirements

Nigerian musician Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, has met the bail conditions following his court appearance at the Isabo Magistrate Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

On Thursday, February 20, Magistrate O.L. Oke granted him bail, set at N2 million, along with a surety of equal value.

Portable faces five charges including conspiracy, assault, possession of weapons, and disorderly conduct, all of which he has denied.

The situation began when Portable reported to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department after the Ogun State Police declared him wanted. He was subsequently transferred to the Ogun State Police headquarters before appearing in court.

Once he fulfilled his bail requirements around 4:30 p.m., Portable knelt down in tears to express his gratitude to the magistrate.
