Peter Obi Lied, He Didn’t Meet Indonesian President – Reno Omokri

The former media assistant to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Reno Omokri has berated the 2023 presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi for lying about his alleged meeting with Indonesian president.

Omokri berates Obi’s lying behavior when he responded to an X user by saying;

Actually told a lie. As usual. The Indonesian president did not meet with Mr. Obi. It’s untrue. In the past, he falsely claimed that he went on a tour with President Biden, and that Tanzania shut down its dams because they had enough electricity, that the brewery he brought to Anambra was now worth $100 million, when in reality it was only worth $6 million after Obi invested nearly $20 million in it, that the National Grid had failed, and that “Of the 150 players in the American NBA, nearly 100 are Nigerians.” Prabowo Subianto is the president of Indonesia.

According to Omokri, Joko Widodo, the former president of Indonesia, is the person Peter Obi met. However, Mr. Peter Obi intentionally deceived his followers by claiming he met the “most popular Indonesian President, President Joko Widodo”.

Two weeks ago, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, Peter Obi described his meeting with Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as follows to demonstrate to you that he purposefully lied: “I caught up with my dear elder brother and Former President of Nigeria, His Excellency Goodluck Jonathan @GEJonathan.”

You’ll notice that he referred to Dr. Jonathan as a “former President,” but he did not use that term when he met Joko Widodo. He referred to him as President. This was done to inflate his own influence and mislead the media and Nigerians. Lying is Peter Obi’s most enduring quality!
