No Amount Of Opposition Will Remove Sanusi Lamido From The Throne – Buba Galadima

Buba Galadima, a prominent leader in the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has strongly expressed his support for the reinstated Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, stating that any attempts to remove him from the throne will not succeed. During an interview with AIT News, Galadima confidently stated that those trying to oust Sanusi would fail, regardless of how many times they attempt it.

Galadima emphasized that the people of Kano and the political structure supporting the Emir will always prevail over external forces. He criticized what he described as persistent interference from federal authorities in Kano State’s internal affairs, attributing the political instability to personal vendettas rather than genuine governance concerns.

He further revealed that certain political figures have been manipulating legal processes to target Sanusi, a tactic known to key stakeholders in the region. Despite these efforts, Galadima remains certain that Sanusi’s leadership will endure.

He stated, “We know that the courts are being influenced from Abuja, without the president’s knowledge. These individuals have a personal issue with Sanusi, but that is their problem. Sanusi is the Emir of Kano, and there is nothing they can do. Even if they remove him ten times, we will reinstate him eleven times. So why waste your time?”

Galadima’s remarks underscore the strong local backing for Sanusi and Kano’s determination to uphold its political and cultural identity. His message makes it clear that the struggle over the Emir’s position is not just political but also a reflection of the people’s will to preserve their heritage.
