Nigerian Army Retires 15 Generals From Service

At least 15 generals from the Artillery Corps have been removed from service by the Nigerian Army.

The Army noted in a post on X that there are 11 major generals and 4 brigadier generals among the retired officers.

The Artillery Corps is in charge of supporting allied forces at the front lines of the battlefield with heavy firepower.

A ceremony at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery in Kaduna State marked the retirement of the retired generals, according to the tweet.

It peruses: ” During a ceremony held at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery in Kachia, Kaduna State, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Nigerian Army formally removed 15 retired generals from the Artillery Corps.

“The gathering of retired people included 11 Significant Commanders and 4 Brigadier Officers.”
