Kashim Shettima May Lose His VP Position Over Nuhu Ribadu, As They’ll Fight – Primate Ayodele

Amid the political tensions preceding the 2027 elections in Nigeria, various influential figures have begun expressing their opinions, advice, and critiques, including Primate Ayodele. The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has highlighted expected developments in the upcoming polls, offering criticisms and guidance.

During an interaction with journalists in Lagos State, he cautioned against a potential conflict between the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima. He advised Shettima to be vigilant as such a clash could jeopardize his position in favor of Ribadu.

Primate Ayodele also touched upon the Northern agenda, mentioning personalities like Nassir El-Rufai and Rabiu Kwankwaso. He predicted a Northern agenda aimed at destabilizing Tinubu’s government, acknowledging the prayers in support of Tinubu, whom he believes possesses the necessary strength and authority.

Regarding the alleged Northern agenda, the Primate dismissed the capabilities of Kwankwaso and certain PDP governors to disrupt Tinubu’s administration. He downplayed El-Rufai’s influence, stating that aligning with him would be futile, emphasizing the lack of a cohesive team within El-Rufai’s circle, particularly excluding Atiku.

In a critique directed at Atiku, Primate Ayodele disapproved of the former Vice President’s political engagements, particularly his interactions with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, whom he claimed harbors animosity towards Atiku. He bluntly informed Atiku that his political aspirations were faltering, urging him to select a competent successor and highlighting the presence of capable and determined politicians.

Expanding his observations to other prominent individuals, the Primate criticized Bukola Saraki for his timidity, questioned Obi’s electoral viability without alliances, and remarked on Jonathan’s perceived lack of vigor for a political comeback.

In the context of the 2027 gubernatorial elections, Primate Ayodele expressed confidence in Chukuma Soludo and the governor of Ekiti State, asserting the likelihood of failure for their competitors. He advised Governor Adeleke to be vigilant against potential schemes targeting him and cautioned against the possible nomination of Oyetola by the APC as a detrimental move.
