Israel Attacks Iran, Warns Tehran Against Retaliation

Israel has attacked Iran with direct airstrikes. The high-stakes retaliation attack has the potential to escalate the Middle East into a regional conflict.

Just after 2:30 a.m. local time on Saturday, at least seven explosions were recorded above Tehran, the capital of Iran, and the nearby city of Karaj, according to The Guardian in the United Kingdom.

It was reported that Israeli aircraft had hit “military targets” in Iran.

Shortly after the earlier explosions, new ones were claimed to have occurred in the vicinity of Tehran on Saturday.

According to the report, there were constant explosions in central Tehran, and light streaks could be seen throughout the sky.

In response to “months of continuous attacks” from Iran, the Israel Defense Forces, or IDF, confirmed the attack and called it “precise strikes on military targets in Iran.”

Tehran was the scene of multiple powerful explosions, according to Iranian state television. IRNA, the Iranian news agency, said that there were no injuries.

However, Israeli military warned Tehran against a retialatory attack after it’s overnight strikes targeting military targets saying operations concluded.
