Dariqatul Qadiriyya is a religious school of thought within Sufism, founded by Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani in the 11th century A.D. in Iran. As one of the most influential Sufi Masters of all time, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani was deeply respected and revered by both Sunni and Shi’ite followers.
He travelled widely throughout the Middle East and Central Asia, spreading a mystical approach to devotion and piety. He taught his followers to treat one another with love, mercy, and justice, and he encouraged them to pursue true knowledge of the Divine.
