Award-winning Nigerian musician Davido has shared that transitioning from a long-term relationship to marriage is no easy feat.
Speaking in a recent interview on the Bootleg Kev podcast, the singer revealed that he and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, had been together for several years before officially tying the knot.
Davido explained that they lived together for eight years, which made their transition into marriage much smoother.
“I consider myself lucky because my partner and I spent a long time together before getting married. We were already used to living together,” he said.
He further recalled, “We met when I was in my third year at university. Fortunately, we started living together early on—almost eight years before we even got married.”
