Ballon D’or: Real Madrid President, Perez Names Those Who Didn’t Vote For Vinicius

Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, has criticized journalists from four nations for overlooking Vinicius Junior in the 2024 Ballon d’Or voting.

Rodri was awarded the prize over Vinicius at a ceremony in Paris in October, which sparked debate in the football community due to the surrounding controversy.

Perez expressed his discontent with the journalists from Namibia, Uganda, Albania, and Finland, stating that if they had participated in the voting, Vinicius would have won the Ballon d’Or.

He pointed out that none of these countries cast a vote for Vinicius, and acknowledged that the Finnish journalist has resigned and will not serve on the jury again, which he appreciated.
