The well known Nigerian performer Teniola Apata, better known by her stage name Teni, recently posted a video in which she displays her compassionate side. She assists a single mother selling herbs by the side of the road in the video.
Teni shared the video on her verified Instagram account on February 13th, 2025, surprising the woman with N1 million and paying for a large portion of her expenses as a gesture of support during difficult financial times.
This update follows Teni, the singer of “Uyo Meyo,” winning $50,000 (N75 million) in an EPL match after Arsenal defeated Man City 5-1.
Teni got out of her fancy car and headed straight to a roadside herb vendor, just like content creator Asherkine, who went out to help those less fortunate.
The singer said she had visited the location the previous day and decided to return the following day. Teniola began her generosity by buying all the herbs, but that was only the beginning.
The singer then made the decision to show the roadside vendor some consideration by buying her Crocs and wigs, taking her to a spa, and going shopping.
To improve the seller’s appearance and make her a stunning version of herself, she even engaged a makeup artist. In addition to giving her N1M, the singer took the initiative to reserve a posh hotel for Chinonso Angel Ojeh, a female street vendor.
The seller was so touched by the N1M that he lay on the ground and prayed for the singer, thanking him for his kindness. Teni posted the video to her Instagram page with the caption, “IT IS THE SEASON OF LOVE.”.
