Veteran singer 2Baba Idibia’s mother, Rose Idibia, has made a heartfelt appeal to Honourable Natasha Osawaru, asking her to release her son from what she perceives as a negative influence.
In an online video, Mrs. Idibia stated that her son is not himself amid his divorce from his estranged wife, Annie Idibia. She particularly called on Nigerian mothers to assist her in pleading with the Edo lawmaker to allow 2Baba to be free.
Mrs. Idibia accused Natasha of placing beads around 2Baba’s neck and wrists, which she believes are impairing his judgment.
“Good evening, Nigerians. I’m Mrs. Rose Idibia. This message is directed at Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I urge all mothers in Nigeria to help me ask her to release my son.
He is currently undergoing a divorce and is clearly not in his right mind. I know my son well; this behavior is not typical for him.
Please, Natasha, take off the beads you’ve placed on him and let him go,” she appealed.
